Autumn 2018

📍 We do this service at our place in Encinitas for clients both in the area as well as those visiting Encinitas from elsewhere.

📌 We will only have your dog(s) at our home during the service.

📌 IMPORTANT COVID-19 UPDATES: Everything on this page applies, but at a heightened level of safety and cleanliness. We require that your dog(s) comes recently bathed (same day) on the drop-off date.

We’ll be using these grooming wipes on your dog(s)’ paws and body, unless you have a preferred brand of grooming wipes that you may bring along for your dog(s).

Your dog(s) may come in secondary contact with the following due to the cleaners and PPE we use: vinyl, PVC, nitrile, other rubber/plastic materials, isopropyl alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, aloe vera gel, vinegar.

Meet and greets will now be conducted virtually over Zoom.us and/or outside and socially distanced. We’ll also kindly require that you wear a mask during all interactions with us.

Drop off, pickup and all other interactions will take place outside.

📌 What we do while your dog(s) is here:

-We take your dog(s) outside for multiple walks per day, including one longer walk per day. We always consider your dog’s needs and safety first. (Your dog’s age, abilities, outdoor weather, etc).

-When we go outside for walks and other doggies are nearby, we always take extra care to avoid confrontation.

-Additionally, we’re keeping our distance from other people as well now, due to COVID-19. Your dog(s) won’t have close contact with other people or dogs while outside and nobody is allowed in our home other than us at this time.

-We make sure your dog(s) is eating his/her food and drinking water – even if it means hand feeding your dog if he/she needs the extra encouragement.

-We always have fresh water down for your dog(s).

-We’ll play with your dog several times a day (depending on his/her desire, abilities, etc).

-We’re happy to use the training prompts you use with your dog(s) to ensure consistent training.

-We’ll inspect your dog(s) every day to ensure your dog is happy and healthy.

-We will send you text messages or email updates (depending on your preference and your cell coverage) every day, that will include photos and/or videos.
